Silver Jewelry Classes

Diana Kipfer has been a silversmith for 35 years. This traditional silversmith background serves to teach participants how to combine metals to create unique designs. She currently teaches Precious Metal Clay (PMC) classes at her studio, Sweet Liberty Creations, in Liiberty Hill, Texas. Diana Kipfer has been a Certified Precious Metal Clay Instructor since 2004 and is a member of the PMC Guild www.pmcguild.com PMC contains particles of pure silver, water, and a binder. The clay can be modeled by hand, with tools and by pressing into shallow open molds. The clay object is fired in an electric kiln, transforming it into a solid silver (.999 FS) object. The fired piece can be soldered and otherwise treated similarly to manufactured metal.
